When everything feels like too much — and no one really gets it.
Being a teenager today is a lot. Between school, social pressure, family expectations, and figuring out who they are, it’s no wonder so many teens feel overwhelmed, anxious, or just plain stuck.
Whether your teen is shutting down, lashing out, constantly overthinking, or just doesn’t seem like themselves anymore — therapy can give them a space to feel heard, supported, and a little more in control of their world.
I work with teens ages 15 and up who are tired of feeling like they have to pretend everything’s okay. Therapy isn’t about being “fixed” — it’s about having someone who gets it walk beside you while you figure things out.
Anxiety, panic, and constant overthinking
Feeling isolated, misunderstood, or emotionally shut down
School stress and academic pressure
Low self-esteem, struggles with identity & self expression, people-pleasing tendencies and confidence issues
Family conflict, divorce, or communication struggles at home
Social anxiety, peer drama, or feeling like they don’t belong
Therapy with me isn’t stiff or awkward. I meet teens where they are, emotionally and literally — through virtual sessions or outdoor walk & talk therapy (if you’re local to Pinellas or Pasco County). My sessions feel like real conversations, not lectures. I use humor, honesty, and empathy to help teens open up in a way that actually feels safe — even when the topics aren’t easy.
And for parents: I understand how hard it can be to know when to step in and when to back off. I provide clear communication, support healthy boundaries, and create a space where your teen can process what’s going on — without feeling like they’re being managed.
Accessible from anywhere in Florida — whether your teen is at home, in their room, or curled up with their phone.
For teens in Pinellas or Pasco County Florida who do better talking while moving. Sometimes it’s easier to talk when you’re not staring at someone across a couch. (This is my favorite open for teens)
Therapy can give teens the space they didn’t know they needed — and help them learn how to cope, communicate, and feel more confident in themselves.
